Position: Dental Assistant Location: KTX Smiles - Katy, Texas Compensation: Competitive Salary (based on experience) Schedule: Monday to Friday About Us: KTX Smiles, led by Dr. Moiz Hemani, is a new and vibrant dental office located in the heart of Katy, Texas. We pride ourselves on offering the latest in dental technology and providing exceptional care to our patients. Our practice philosophy is centered around customer service, patient education, and building long-term relationships with our patients, bringing a small-town feel to our practice. Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong commitment to patient care and a desire to grow within our practice. Responsibilities: • Assist the dentist during procedures: including general dentistry, Invisalign, and dental implants • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment • Take digital radiographs • iTero Scan and digital model printing • Ensure patients are comfortable and provide compassionate care • Maintain accurate patient records • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care • Manage inventory of dental supplies and materials • Support other team members as needed Qualifications and Requirements: • Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental office preferred • Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques • Familiarity with dental software (experience with Open Dental is a plus) • Experience with digital scanning (iTero) preferred • Strong customer service and communication skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently • Compassionate and patient-centered approach • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures To Apply: If you are passionate about patient care and eager to join a dynamic dental team, we would love to hear from you!
