Responsibilities: Conduct initial oral screenings and review patients’ dental history. Clean and help protect patients’ teeth by removing plaque and applying fluoride treatments. Educate patients of all ages on proper oral hygiene techniques. Take and review dental X-rays. Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various dental conditions. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Ensure all dental instruments are sterilized properly. Requirements: -Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or similar role. -In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g., HIPAA). -Ability to build trust with patients of all ages. -be friendly and welcoming and be able to connect with patients personally and put them at ease -have great communication skills and be able to clearly educate patients using intra-oral photography -maintain orderly records sterile and sharp instruments and and clean environment -maintain a busy hygiene schedule in a timely manner -provide accurate periodontal cleanings as well as routine prophies -We see mostly adults but be ok with seeing some families with children as well. -be a team player helping the team provide great customer service -Relevant certification and licensure.
