There are two Dental Assistant positions available . One for General Dentistry and One for Sleep Dentistry. Dental Assistant : We are looking for a dental assistant with a good personality to help with our growing general dental practice. We have a great team to work with the patients. You will be working between DR and Hygiene and help office flow good . We need one more to make our team complete . Qualifications: -Must be a certified dental assistant with a current X-ray license -Must be organized, able to multi-task, take direction well, and have good interpersonal skills -Computer skills preferred -Must be willing to learn. Job Duties: - Willing to work in all areas of the office to run the office smooth . -Dental back office duties. -Assist dentist and hygiene with patients. -Take X Rays and keep all areas clean. -Willing to help in everything needed to keep the office flow. Duties are different from a Dental assistant . If you know dental terminology its a plus . You will be trained on the job needs to be performed . If you are good at learning , independent ,organized and good at taking care of patients and presenting to the patients rest we can teach you . Need to be accountable for your work . To give a general idea of some of the job you will be doing : No drilling - All pictures-Mostly scans - impressions - presenting TX plans - administrative work - Lab repairs and pour ups -Device adjustments -follow ups - Lots of notes - record up keep . These are some of the work . Perfect for who were in dental but cannot do bend over backward jobs . Have to be looking for long term job . No short term applicants please . PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR DUTIES ● Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. ● Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone. ● Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying assistant of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays. ● Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information. ● Welcomes and greets all patients and visitors, in person or over the phones ● Answers the phone while maintaining a polite, consistent phone manner using propertelephone etiquette ● Responsible for keeping the reception area clean and organized ● Registers new patients and updates existing patient demographics by collecting patientdetailed patient information including personal and financial information, including thosethat have not completed online portal ● Facilitates patient flow by notifying the provider of patients' arrival, being aware ofdelays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff ● Confirm appointments ● Responsible for maintaining reception area ● Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times ASSISTANT DUTIES ● Reviewing schedule at least two days before and ensuring appointment preparations are made in advance ● Seating patients in the treatment rooms and updating medical history, recording vital signs, reviewing chief complaints, progress questionnaires, etc. ● Set up all exam rooms and supplies ahead of appointment times ● Sterilization and preparation of instruments ● Taking impressions and photos ● Ordering clinical supplies ● Manage patient records ● Communicate patient information and treatment with referring and current providers ofcare including phone calls and concise, accurate letters ● Assist the provider in treatment rooms ● Perform laboratory functions such as pouring models, device repairs, etc. ● Assist with implementation and documentation of current infection control standards ● Give instructions to patients and review with them ● Ensure all information is in patient charts and correct prior to their appointment ● Complete and accurate charting of appointments in progress notes following SOAP protocols ● Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate supplies and instruments ● Process all phone messages from patients related to clinical treatment and respond within 24 hrs ● Maintain patient confidentiality ● Enter patient charges for billing ● Recognize and respond appropriately to urgent/emergent situations ● Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 30– 34 per week Benefits: 401(k) matching Paid time off Retirement plan Schedule: 8 hour shift No weekends Work Location: In person
