Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and the team members to provide exceptional patient care and support. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with dental procedures, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit. Duties: - Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures by sterilizing instruments and disinfecting surfaces. Keep treatments rooms clean at all time. - Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments, suctioning, and providing additional support as needed - Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide post-operative care instructions - Maintain accurate patient records by documenting treatment plans, procedures performed, and any relevant correspondence. - Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and readily available. - Follow strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff. - Assist in marketing preparation. Training will be provided. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a dental assistant program with current RDA certification. - X-ray certification required; CPR certification preferred. - Proficiency in using dental software. - Strong knowledge of aseptic technique, infection control protocols, and procedural documentation - Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients of all ages - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records, manage inventory, and assist office preparatory procedures. Salary is based on experience and performance.
