We are searching for an experienced Orthodontic Assistant, that is looking to make a long-term commitment to our team. We can't wait to meet you! Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilization of instruments and equipment. Take X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Record and update patient dental records accurately, including treatment notes Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and proper care of orthodontic appliances. Manage appointment scheduling to optimize patient flow. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Provide support in pediatric cases, ensuring comfort and understanding for all younger patients. Requirements At least 1- 3 years of previous Orthodontic Assisting experience Consistent availability Excellent time management A fast learner A team player Malleability Familiarity with orthodontic procedures Understanding of infection control practices within a clinical setting. Proficiency in using practice management software is preferred. Ability to take X-rays and manage dental records effectively. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with patients and team members. A compassionate approach towards all patients especially pediatric patients is essential. Certification in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred , or else will be provided. Perks of joining our team?
