Description

Patient Reception & Hospitality: Greet patients warmly upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient needs and inquiries with professionalism and care. Appointment Management: Schedule, confirm, and modify patient appointments accurately and efficiently using OpenDental software. Coordinate appointment times to optimize the provider’s schedule and minimize patient wait times. Communication & Follow-up: Send appointment reminders via phone, email, or text to reduce no-shows and ensure patients are well-informed. Follow up on rescheduled or canceled appointments as needed. Front Desk Operations: Manage daily front desk activities, including checking patients in and out, verifying insurance information, and maintaining organized and up-to-date patient records in compliance with privacy regulations. Patient Records & Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized patient files, including treatment plans, insurance information, and communication logs. Assist with documentation related to treatment planning and insurance claims. Insurance & Financial Coordination: Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), explain patient benefits, and assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and out-of-pocket responsibilities. Administrative Support: Handle various administrative tasks such as verifying insurance eligibility, processing payments, and managing correspondence related to scheduling and billing. Team Collaboration: Support the dental team by facilitating seamless patient flow, coordinating communication between staff members, and ensuring that scheduling aligns with treatment plans and provider availability.
