Description

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide efficient patient care. Benefits: Simple IRA Paid holidays Paid sick time Paid time off Employee discount Flexible schedule Duties - Prepare patients for dental work - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Hand instruments to the dentist during procedures - Keep patients' mouths dry by using suction hoses or other equipment - Instruct patients in proper oral hygiene - Take and record patients' vital signs - Assist with dental X-rays and perform lab tasks under the direction of a dentist - Maintain accurate patient records and schedule appointments Experience The following skills are required or preferred: - Experience in pediatric dentistry - Knowledge of dental coding - Proficiency in infection control systems - Ability to take X-rays - Experience with dental software Eaglesoft - Previous experience in assisting with dental procedures Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
