Office Hours M-W 7:45am - 5pm Thursday 7:45am-3pm Dental / Medical Assistant (Entry-Level -willing to train) The Bay Area TMJ & Sleep Apnea Center is looking for a dedicated and professional Medical Assistant to join our specialized clinical team. If you are looking to start a career in a unique field of healthcare that focuses on life-changing treatments for TMJ disorders and sleep apnea, we want to meet you. No prior medical experience is required. We provide comprehensive, hands-on training for the right candidate. However, we have a high standard for administrative and professional excellence. ________________________________________ Core Requirements To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and attributes: • Exceptional Typing & Literacy: Must be able to type quickly and accurately. Strong spelling and grammar skills are non-negotiable for clinical charting and patient communication. • Professionalism: You must be presentable and maintain a professional demeanor at all times, as you will be working directly in the clinical environment and interacting closely with patients. • Reliability: We operate on a precise schedule. You must be dependable, punctual, and consistently show up on time for your shifts. • Clinical Readiness: Comfortable working in a hands-on patient environment (working in patients' mouths and assisting with clinical procedures). Key Responsibilities • Assisting the practitioner with patient examinations and treatments. • Accurate and efficient data entry and clinical notetaking. • Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional clinical space. • Providing high-level patient care and support throughout their visit.
