Give Back a Smile

DentalPost is a proud supporter of The AACD Charitable Foundation’s (AACDCF) flagship program, Give Back a Smile. Through its work, Give Back a Smile and AACDCF heal some of the most devastating effects of domestic and sexual violence by restoring the smiles of adults who have received dental injuries from a former intimate partner, family member, or due to sexual assault.

DentalPost hosts an annual fundraiser and special event – “Go Jump in the Lake” – to bring awareness and support for this important cause.

Oral Cancer Cause

Oral Cancer Cause’s (OCC) purpose is to improve the quality of life for oral cancer patients through financial support so that they may face the world with peace and dignity during and after medical treatment.

DentalPost proudly supports OCC through our annual holiday fundraiser – the Purple Tree Challenge.

Georgia Mission of Mercy

In addition to her own philanthropic initiatives, Tonya volunteers her time with several local and national non-profits, including Georgia Mission of Mercy. In recent years, she has volunteered her expertise for their two-day no-charge clinics, sponsored by the Georgia Dental Foundation of Oral Health. The organization provides immediate, free access to dental care for 2,000 low- and no-income adults, providing almost $1.5 million in care and nearly 9,200 procedures at its most recent event.

Dental Impact Group

In 2018, Tonya launched “Dental Impact Group” and introduced the first-ever Registered Dental Hygienist Entrepreneur Women’s Summit. The annual event brings together industry influencers and change-makers with a goal of improving lives in business, health, leadership, relationships and personal growth through a 3-day program led by world-class speakers and thought-leaders.

Virgin STRIVE Challenge

When she’s not busy speaking at conferences or building her charitable programs, Tonya can be found coaching students and job seekers at dental hygiene seminars, study clubs and dental programs around the country.

In addition, she participates in the purpose-driven Virgin STRIVE Challenge led by Richard Branson. The event unites an extraordinary group of entrepreneurs, thought leaders, philanthropists and educational trailblazers from around the world to push beyond personal limits while raising money and awareness for Big Change, a cause focused on supporting and transforming how we educate the next generation of youth.
