Work with contacts at the nursing home to coordinate charts. Enter chart notes for treatment at the time of treatment. Maintain dental equipment through regular cleaning and maintenance routines. Inventory supplies and order as needed. Requirements: A Current Registered Dental Hygienist License in good standing. 5 years experience is required. Valid Driver’s License with no moving violations in the last 5 years. Willingness to travel within a 2.5-hour radius. Must have own reliable transportation. Ability to push/pull + or - 200 lbs. (ex. wheelchair). The Position: A Dental Hygienist is needed two to three days a week to complete on-site hygiene services and work with their clinical schedulers and nursing home staff to meet the facilities' needs. You’ll help dentists decide treatments for teeth or gum diseases and handle dental emergencies. As a Dental Hygienist, you should be reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages. You should have deep knowledge of relevant health and safety rules and a good eye for oral diseases and anomalies. * Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before and during their examination
* Sterilize dental instruments properly
* Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
* Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis
* Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
* Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good flossing and brushing techniques)
* Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
* Take X-rays or dental impressions
* Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer)
* Maintain documentation and charts on each patient

Our staff of 53 in total include dentists, assistants, hygienists and admin staff.
We provide practically all dental services in house including Ortho, Invisalign, Restoration of Implants, Periodontal Therapy, Root Canals, TMJ/Jaw Pain, Veneers and Wisdom Teeth/Extractions, and more.
We service patients of all ages, from the very young to the oldest among us.
