his position is for MONDAY & TUESDAY, 8AM - 6PM (this is office hours) We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during patient procedures and providing exceptional patient care. Duties: - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures - Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including taking dental x-rays, suctioning, and passing instruments - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Take and record patient vital signs - Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring impressions and trimming models - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and patient records - Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions Experience: To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications: - Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or relevant dental experience preferred - Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix, or OpenDental - Knowledge of medical coding and insurance billing processes - Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols - Ability to take accurate patient assessments and record vital signs - Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Benefits: We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
