We love learning to grow as individuals and as a team, and we love providing excellent care to our patients. 📍 This position is for our Cleburne location, but training will take place for the first 4–6 months at Fort Worth Oral Surgery, where you’ll be fully supported as you learn alongside an experienced team. Ideal candidates like you: - Project a positive, warm and professional image in person and on the phone - Are articulate and service-oriented - Have the ability to multi-task, take initiative and anticipate needs of others - Are reliable and prompt - Maintain a professional appearance - Can positively impact patients, co-workers, referring offices, and the practice as a whole - Work well in a team, with humor, enthusiasm, and joyful consideration of others Some of the duties of our full-time surgical assistants include: - Assist the doctor during surgical procedures - Monitor patients for safety during and after administration of anesthetics/sedatives - Accurately record treatment information - Instruct patients in pre-op and post-op care - Set up instrument trays - Prepare patients for upcoming procedures - Take diagnostic x-rays and cone beam CT scans Starting pay range is between $17-19 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. We also have a generous benefit package including health/dental insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and more. Our typical office hours are 8a-5p M-Th and 8a~3p F. (Morning start times can vary a bit depending on the surgery schedule, and some flexibility is required to allow for patient care.)
