Frey Orthodontics in downtown Naperville is seeking a qualified and caring Orthodontic Assistant to join our team of Great Smile Creators! Our practice has a strong emphasis on not only alignment of the teeth, but also beautiful esthetics of the face and smile. As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will join a team providing top-notch personal service chairside that makes our clients feel like family. As a member of our team, you will provide chairside assistance to the orthodontist, manage digital workflows, insert and deliver appliances, and accurately communicate daily treatment and future appointment information to the patient/parent. The ideal candidate has a strong positive attitude, embraces the concept of teamwork and has at least two years of orthodontic experience. Responsibilities Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable Discuss the orthodontic appointment goals with patients and answer any questions they have Place and remove archwires chairside Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the orthodontist for exams and procedures Assist orthodontist during procedures and record treatment notes and future appointment information Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies Accurately communicate appointment care and future visit information to the parent/patient Non-Patient Day responsibilities include, lab work, restocking supplies, office cleaning, emergency care Qualifications Current Coronal Polishing Certification Current CPR training Previous experience as a dental or orthodontic assistant Strong computer and data entry skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to provide high-quality patient care A Strong Positive Team Attitude
