Job description Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Denture Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting laboratory operations by performing various technical tasks, ensuring accurate testing and analysis, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of medical and dental terminology, as well as proficiency in patient assessment and medical documentation. Responsibilities Conduct laboratory tests and analyses according to established protocols and procedures. Perform patient assessments to gather necessary information for testing. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and dental terminology to assist in diagnostic processes. Implement infection control measures to ensure a safe working environment. Operate laboratory equipment, including micrometers, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Ensure that all laboratory practices adhere to quality assurance standards. Be able to make dentures, partials, flippers, and prosthetics Requirements Strong knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and infection control practices. Experience with medical coding and maintaining medical records is preferred. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality. Ability to operate laboratory equipment, including micrometers, accurately. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and healthcare providers.
