Description

We are a private practice in the River Oaks area seeking a full-time (4days/week) experienced lead dental assistant. Our current lead DA will be transitioning to the front office. We offer holiday pay, vacation pay, retirement plan and uniform allowance. Required Duties: - Taking dental radiographs - Preparing and sterilizing instruments, handpieces and other equipment in compliance with OSHA standards and CDC guidelines - Sending and monitoring lab cases - Following up with patients after treatment and providing relevant instructions - Monitoring inventory and ordering dental supplies Education and Experience Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Graduate of accredited dental assisting program - Compliance with state and dental practice requirements, such as x-ray requirements and OSHA - Computer skills - Personable, upbeat disposition
