Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support to our dental professionals, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience for our patients. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care. We work with families; which includes adults and children. Responsibilities: - Assist our dentist during procedures, including radiographs and prosthodontics. - Utilize Dental Imaging software to capture accurate images of patients' teeth and mouths. - Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, adhering to all infection control protocols. - Participate in working with young patients and their parents to create a comfortable and welcoming environment. - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, maintaining patient confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion. - Collaborate with our team to deliver exceptional patient care, utilizing Four-Handed Dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency and quality. - Utilize Dentrix software to manage patient records. - Perform tasks such as preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and restocking supplies. - Provide support during emergencies, following established protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a related field. - Certification or licensure as a Dental Assistant in the state of Texas. - Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Familiarity with Dental Imaging and HIPAA regulations. - Proficiency with Dentrix software. - Ability to work with pediatric and adult patients. Work hours are Monday - Thursday 8:45am to 6:00pm Please DO NOT call office to inquire about position. Work Location: In person No weekends
