REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST - Private Practice Location: The Woodlands, TX Schedule: Tuesday–Thursday Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience --- At our well-established private practice, we're not just treating smiles — we're building trust, confidence, and long-term relationships. As we prepare to transition ownership, we're seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist who brings both clinical excellence and a passion for patient care. This is more than a cleaning appointment; it’s about meaningful conversations, personalized education, and helping patients own their oral health. What You’ll Do: -Identify patient needs, communicate findings to the doctor, and actively participate in treatment planning -Conduct Total Care Interviews to uncover lifestyle, health, and dental goals -Provide exceptional preventive care: adult/child prophy, scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, fluoride treatments, and radiographs -Educate patients using visual aids, intraoral photos, and one-on-one coaching to increase awareness and drive case acceptance -Maintain a full, productive schedule with a target of 7–8 patients per day Ensure 100% of hygiene patients are pre-appointed and actively maintained in our recall system -Attend and contribute to daily huddles and monthly hygiene calibration meetings -Collaborate with our Hygiene Coordinator to address no-shows, fill schedule gaps, and re-engage inactive patients -Keep treatment rooms meticulously clean and prepared, and instruments sterilized and sharpened -Support seamless hand-offs to the doctor and financial coordinator, maintaining urgency and clarity throughout the patient’s visit -Dentrix knowledge, ability to chart accurately, follow perio protocols, and adhere to all clinical guidelines What We’re Looking For: -Current RDH license in good standing, state of Texas -2+ years of hygiene experience preferred, but we welcome confident and motivated newer grads -Strong interpersonal skills — you know how to connect, educate, and motivate -A positive, collaborative mindset — team player energy is a must -Confidence in discussing treatment needs, periodontal health, and long-term care plans -Familiarity with digital radiography, intraoral cameras, and periodontal charting systems We Offer: -A supportive, experienced team that values your contributions -Streamlined systems to help you focus on patient care -Growth potential as the practice expands post-transition -Competitive pay based on experience and skill --- This is the perfect role for a hygienist who thrives in a relationship-driven environment and believes in the power of education, prevention, and teamwork.
