JOB DESCRIPTION Dental Office Support provides remote front office services to 60+ dental practices around the country from our office in Graniteville, SC. With growth of more than 40% in this area over the past 12 months, we need to grow our local team. 36-40 hours per week, no weekends, 11 paid holidays, PTO and the opportunity to do what you do best without the interruption of checking patients in or out, answering the phone or responding to doctor and back office team members for the umpteenth time every day! The Billing Team Lead plays the key role in an integrated team whose combined role is to get clean claims out initially with appropriate attachments, post insurance reimbursements, resolve problem claims and maximize dental insurance collections for multiple practices. S/he serves as the focal point for customer service to clients, promoting a cohesive working relationship for the good of all. There are no insurance verification responsibilities for this role. The primary functions of this role consist of resolving problem claims after lower-level team members have made the initial call to the carrier or have otherwise researched the claims in question. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 24 months dental office experience required. SOFTWARE: Prior experience with sending electronic claims and command of at least one of the following: Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Opendental, Curve, Denticon, Fuse, Dentrix Ascend, and/or Carestack. CLAIMS: Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of reading dental x-rays. Team members who excel in pursuing and resolving outstanding claims have the best success and opportunity for advancement. LEADERSHIP: Must be able to successfully manage a small team supporting multiple clients and to use one's expertise and communication skills to motivate, serve and develop the team.
