Position Summary: We are looking for a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Surgical Dental Assistant or EFDA to join our team. This role is essential in delivering a seamless and comfortable experience for our patients while providing clinical support during surgical and general procedures. The ideal candidate will contribute to our practice by ensuring high standards of patient care, maintaining clinical efficiency, and fostering a welcoming environment. While prior experience as a dental assistant is preferred, we also welcome entry-level applicants who bring a positive attitude, a desire to grow, and strong interpersonal skills. Compensation is based on a sliding scale, with top performers earning up to $28 per hour, in addition to monthly bonus opportunities Key Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Provide post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist Support with inventory and restocking of clinical supplies Coordinate with front office and lab for seamless patient flow Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year of dental assisting experience Current Dental Assisting certification Radiology certification Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Understanding of HIPAA regulations and dental terminology What We Offer: Supportive team environment Hands-on experience in an advanced dental practice Opportunities to grow your dental career Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Paid time off Experience: Dental Assistant: 1 year (Required)
