We are looking to high someone for part time hours and we can be flexible with the hours. The position has the potential to become full time as we grow. Duties: - Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing - Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) - Conduct oral cancer screenings - Administer local anesthesia as necessary - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical documentation systems - Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures - Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional patient care Qualifications: - Valid state dental hygiene license - Proficiency in using dental office software (we use OpenDental) for scheduling and record keeping - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate treatment recommendations - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
