Description

We are an orthodontic office looking for a full-time assistant, averaging 30 hours per week, with the option for additional hours once fully trained. Primary Duties Include: · Chairside orthodontic assisting, including archwire insertions · Taking impressions and digital scans · Operatory preparation and sterilization · Instrument processing and sterilization · Clinical photography · Treatment card entry (computer-based) · Dental laboratory tasks, including the fabrication of orthodontic retainers Preferred Qualifications: · Dental X-ray certification · Completion of a 1-year dental assisting program While experience is a plus, a positive attitude is our top priority. We will provide orthodontic training for the right candidate. Solid general dentistry skills are also highly valued. Being a team player is essential—this is more than a catchphrase. We truly rely on collaboration and mutual support. Six days per month are scheduled at our satellite office, located approximately 40 minutes away. A $60/day travel stipend (tax free) will be provided.
