Description

We are a busy Orofacial Pain and Sleep Medicine Practice looking for a Specialist Assistant. - Dental assistant experience required - Set up treatment rooms for procedures - Show care and concern, and help patients feel comfortable - Obtain and review health histories according to office protocol - Anticipate and assist physician’s needs - Chart patients and record date, service rendered and any charges - Ensure patient treatment notes are properly recorded in patient’s chart - Perform clinical procedures as practice allows and as directed - Give patient instruction and demonstrate when necessary - Monitor patient flow - Keep treatment rooms ready, stocked and clean - Promptly send out and monitor all laboratory cases including bloodwork - Implement the preventative maintenance/cleaning schedule for dental equipment - Follow laboratory procedures according to office protocol - Take X-rays and digital impressions as needed Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7:30 - 4:30 Occasional Fridays, as needed
