Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented patient registration representative to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and efficient patient registration and check-out process, providing excellent patient service, and maintaining accurate health information. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking. Duties include greeting patients warmly and assisting with the registration process both in-person and over the phone, scheduling and confirming patient appointments, ensuring all necessary information is collected accurately and completed thoroughly, verifying patient insurance information and assisting with insurance questions, maintaining organized patient records and ensuring compliance with health information management standards, utilizing Dentrix dental electronic health records software for data entry and management, providing support to other office management staff as required, addressing patient inquiries regarding services, appointments, and billing in a professional manner, collecting payment for services rendered using a payment terminal, collaborating with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow within the clinic, performing clerical duties such as filing/scanning documents and managing correspondence between patients, other dental offices, and other health care providers, and maintaining a neat working area and waiting area. Hours: Monday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Tuesday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Wednesday: Closed Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Saturday: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm (currently one Saturday/month, up to two Saturdays/month)
