Our work environment includes: Modern office setting Growth opportunities Relaxed atmosphere On-the-job training Safe work environment Competitive pay (based on experience) Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for growth and continuing education Friendly, supportive team and modern, high-tech office Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures such as implant placement, wisdom teeth extractions, sinus lift, RCT, intraoral scanning, uploading digital scans, and experience in orthodontics with clear aligners and conventional braces. - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take dental x-rays and CT scans - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring and trimming models. Scanning designing, 3D printing, dental photography - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation - Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment Requirements: - Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting - Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials - Proficiency in medical imaging, including taking dental X-rays and CT scans - Familiarity with orthodontics, digital dentistry (CAD/CAM technology) and implant surgery is a plus - Understanding of dental anatomy and terminology - Knowledge of infection control protocols and adherence to HIPAA regulations - Ability to take accurate vital signs and record medical documentation As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dentist in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. You will assist with various procedures, perform dental imaging, ensure infection control measures are followed, and provide patient education. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills who can work well in a team environment. Experience with CAD/CAM technology and Dentrix ascend is a plus.
