Dental Assistant Job We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Dental Assistant to join our team and support our dentist in providing excellent patient care. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, eager to learn, and ready to make a difference. Your role will include assisting with surgical procedures, taking X-rays, preparing equipment, and ensuring that both patients and the clinical team are well-supported. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is detail-oriented, and brings a positive, “How can I help?” attitude every day. ⸻ Responsibilities: • Assist the surgeon chairside during procedures — from operatory setup and anesthesia administration to cleanup. • Take X-rays, operate 3D scanning equipment, and develop radiographs for diagnosis. • Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment, following strict infection control protocols. • Prepare patient charts, update dental records, and help with administrative tasks like scheduling and filing. • Monitor and replenish surgical supplies and medications as needed. • Provide friendly and professional patient care before, during, and after procedures. • Maintain equipment and ensure the workspace is clean, organized, and ready at all times. ⸻ What We’re Looking For: • RDA license (Required) • BLS provider certification (Required) • At least 6 months of dental assisting experience preferred — but we’re happy to train the right person • Strong organizational and time management skills • Clear, kind communication skills • Professional, dependable, and calm under pressure • A team player who is always ready to help ⸻ Location: We are located inside the 610 loop near Montrose, just outside downtown Houston. ⸻ Schedule: • Monday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM • Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM • Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Employee hours may vary slightly depending on position)
