This position is for Mondays 8am to 5pm and Tuesdays 7am to 4pm. Potential for additional days. Why You'll Love This Role: 1-hour appointments per patient with ample time for education and discussion Work with a collaborative team Training in airway screening, iTero, Vatech CBCT, SprintRay 3-D printer Ongoing support for your professional development and continuing education opportunities in airway dentistry and sleep health Responsibilities: Perform routine prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing Conduct comprehensive periodontal assessments and charting Take diagnostic dental radiographs Capture intra-oral photos to aid in patient education and Dr's diagnosis Integrate airway health screening into routine dental visits. Discuss malocclusion and its implications Educate patients about sleep disordered breathing effects and treatment pathways. Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention Apply preventive materials such as fluoride and educate patients on preventative use of products such as CariFree Pro Gel Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Schedule recare appointments Adhere to all infection control and sterilization protocols Screen for signs of oral cancer and other systemic health concerns Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care Cross train on scanning with iTero , using Vatech CBCT, and SprintRay 3-D printer
