Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and professional Dental Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead with confidence, maintain impeccable organization, and bring a wealth of dental office management experience to ensure the smooth operation of our practice. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage daily operations, inspire our team, and uphold our commitment to excellence. Our Ideal Office Manager • Proven experience Leading teams and managing dental office operations • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through • Tech-savvy and adaptable- comfortable managing a wide range of software, online systems, and digital tools, with the ability to quickly adopt new technologies and AI. • Calm, confident, and emotionally intelligent- able to lead with clarity and composure • Clear communicator with a professional, polished demeanor • Able to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment. • Self-starter who identifies problems and implements solutions proactively • Brings a sense of humor, positivity, and team spirit to the workplace Experience & Education • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the dental field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or office management role • Deep working knowledge of Open Dental software is required • Extensive experience with dental insurance, including claim submission, verification, billing, and maximizing patient benefits • Able to analyze and audit patient accounts, ensure accuracy in balances, and address discrepancies • Strong understanding of dental terminology, treatment codes, and procedures • Skilled in all aspects of dental administrative operations, including scheduling, billing, records management, and patient communication • Ensures full regulatory compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, state dental board rules, CE tracking, X- ray documentation, and all administrative standards required for lawful dental practice operations • College degree preferred but not required; strong dental leadership and software skills are prioritized Responsibilities Include • Overseeing daily operations of the dental practice, ensuring efficiency and exceptional patient care. • Managing staff schedules, training, and performance to maintain a cohesive and motivated team. • Handling administrative tasks, including patient records, billing, and insurance processes • Implementing systems and processes to enhance organization and workflow. • Serving as a confident and professional point of contact for patients, staff, and vendors.
