Description

Cameo Dental Specialists is a rapidly growing dental specialty group looking for an Endodontic Assistant. This position is responsible for providing an excellent patient experience while assisting the dental specialist in addition to maintaining infection control practices. The right candidate will enjoy working collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced environment, working to provide safe care for all patients. This role demands flexibility and adaptability, superior organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence. As needed, we’ll call upon this role to perform other duties to help advance our business goals. Schedule: Full Time Monday - Friday, 1-2 Saturdays/month, must be flexible to travel between offices Responsibilities - Document procedure notes and obtains all necessary dental/medical history - Take digital X-rays and CBCT scans - Chairside assist, 4 handed dentistry - Prepare and sterilize instruments, operatories and equipment - Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care - Conduct wellness calls to patients - Collaborates with PRCs to ensure dentist's schedule runs smoothly and efficiently - Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and - procedures - Maintains patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA - Assists with daily office cleaning responsibilities Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent - 2-3 years of Dental assisting experience, specialty experience preferred - Ability to contribute productively in a team setting, as well as being a strong individual contributor - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Highly organized with strong attention to detail. - Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve problems. - Positive attitude and ability to shift directions based on business needs - Willing to cross train specialties: endo, perio, oral surgery Preferred Skills - Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude - Reliable, organized, and comfortable in a high-level clinical setting - Xray certification - Nitrous Oxide certification We Offer - Dental insurance - Dependent health insurance coverage - Disability insurance - Health insurance - HSA/FSA accounts - Life insurance - On-the-job training - Opportunities for advancement - Paid time off - Referral program - Safety equipment provided - Uniform allowance - Vision insurance - 401(k) - Bereavement leave Specialized Dental Partners, its affiliates, related companies and independently owned supported clinical practices are proud to be Equal Opportunity Employers.
