As a licensed Dental Hygienist, you’ll perform hygiene procedures, educate patients, and help manage the nonsurgical periodontal program under the direction of the dentist. You’ll build trusting patient relationships and contribute to excellent overall care. What You’ll Do: - Establish and maintain continued patient care relationships - Verify and document patient health history - Educate patients on oral hygiene, health, disease, and services offered - Perform clinical hygiene functions: diagnostic x-rays, blood pressure, adult/child prophylaxis, nonsurgical periodontal therapy, co-assess restorative needs with the doctor - Determine needs and perform sealant placement, Arestin, and fluoride treatments as needed What You’ll Bring: - Dental hygiene certification from an accredited school - Current hygiene license for North Carolina - Up-to-date OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control training - Familiarity with dental software Location:
