As a Dental Assistant at Delicate Dental Care, your attitude and ability to value and improve the patient experience will play an important role in the delivery of extraordinary dental care. We are looking for talented assistants who can provide excellent customer service for our patients, provide precise support to the doctor, and possess a gentle chair-side manner. Responsibilities: * Provide exceptional, professional customer service, with excellent chair-side manner. * Be punctual, engaged and ready to work at all assigned shift times. * Be able to work on Friday and Saturday. * Take direction from the doctors, assist with all dental procedures, and anticipate their needs. * Take high-quality radiographs. * Be able to make high quality temporary crowns, temporary bridges. * Review patient charts prior to doctor arrival, log appropriate patient data and health history during the exam and treatment. * Clean, sterilize and set up the equipment and operatory, per the clinic’s procedures and guidelines. * Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain the schedule and patient flow. * Educate the patients and address their questions and/or concerns. * Demonstrate good teamwork to deliver an extraordinary experience for every patient. * Support staff to maintain excellent patient service and integrity. * Assist the front office staff in scheduling patients’ follow up visits, tracking the incoming and outgoing lab cases, explaining treatment plan, checking insurance. * Monitor the level of dental supplies. * Complete checklists as assigned to ensure that every single day flows smoothly. * Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance. * Follow the clinic’s safety policies and procedures through OSHA compliance and BBP (Blood-borne Pathogens) federal regulations. * Have basic computer skills and knowledge. Be able to use dental software. * Be eager to learn new technologies. Qualifications: Education/Certification: * Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required * Current radiography certification required * Dental Assistant certification, as required by state, or ability to become certified * Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) * Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training Benefits: * Paid holidays * Employee dental benefits * OSHA, HIPAA Smart Training Base Salary: * $17 - $24 based on experience
