Description

We are looking for a compassionate and versatile individual to join our dedicated team in a hybrid role that combines both Dental Assistant and Receptionist responsibilities. Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 7am-4pm and Wednesday 7am-3pm, off on Friday's Responsibilities - Provide chair-side clinical support to Drs by assisting, charting, patient education, operatory set-up and clean-up - Deliver a superior patient experience at all phases of their appointment - Take and process X-Rays - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation - Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories - Welcome, comfort and educate patients on oral hygiene and post treatment care - Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality and follow workplace regulations - Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment - Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars - Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication - Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations - Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records - Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry - Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed - Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations - Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ years of Dental assisting experience Preferred Skills - Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude - Reliable, organized, and comfortable in a high-level clinical setting - Completion of a Dental Assisting program or Dental Assisting certification preferred according to State and individual practices - Radiology certification preferred according to state and individual practices We Offer - Competitive Compensation - Comprehensive Benefits Package for Full Time Employees: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Flexible Spending Accounts, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and much more! The salary range for this role is $18 -$22 per hour based on full-time employment.
