Description

We are looking for an exceptional person to join our Mooresville office as a dental assistant team member. We are a general dental practice with locations in Mooresville and Troutman. Tasks include but are not limited to seating patients, taking radiographs, assisting chairside, maintaining sterilization, filling openings in schedule, confirming appointments, making and returning calls from patients, reviewing treatment plans and financing with patients, maintaining office records, and maintaining reception area. Applicants will only be considered if they excel in the following competencies: - customer service skills - initiative - adaptability - team work - communication skills - information collection and management - planning and organizing - accuracy Desired background includes: - One year of dental assisting experience - Radiography certification - knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and diagnosis - knowledge of computer and relevant software applications - knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures - working knowledge of dental insurance If interested, please submit your resume and cover letter explaining experience and qualifications for this position.
