Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our general dental practice. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during clinical procedures, provide excellent patient care, maintain infection control standards, and support the smooth operation of the office. Key Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures (fillings, crowns, extractions, root canals, etc.) Prepare and organize instruments, materials, and equipment for dental procedures Take dental radiographs (X-rays) Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment Maintain a clean and sterile environment in the operatory rooms Perform infection control procedures and sterilize instruments Document patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories accurately Provide postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist Scan using iTero Scan Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed Support front desk as needed (scheduling, confirming appointments, etc.) Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, and state dental board regulations Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited dental assisting program Current state Dental Assistant license and certifications (e.g., X-ray, CPR, etc.) Prior experience in a general dental office is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment A positive attitude and commitment to patient care and team collaboration Benefits: Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off and holidays Continuing education opportunities Supportive and team-focused work environment
