Brooklane Family Dental is a busy, private, single-doctor practice. We’re looking for an experienced, dependable and skilled dental assistant to work full-time alongside two other talented dental assistants. Our office runs at a steady pace and relies on assistants who are attentive, organized and fully engaged in patient care from start to finish. We value mutual respect, accountability and people who genuinely want to work well with others. Position Overview This is not an entry-level position. We need a confident, experienced dental assistant who already possesses strong technical skills, understands the rhythm of a busy dental office and knows how to anticipate the needs of both patients and the dentist. You’ll be expected to assist with a wide variety of procedures, work efficiently, and provide excellent patient care with professionalism and empathy. Primary Responsibilities • Provide chairside support during exams, restorative procedures, endodontics, prosthodontics, pediatric care and more • Set up treatment rooms, sterilize instruments and ensure all necessary materials are prepped and ready • Capture and process high-quality digital scans and radiographs as directed • Chart procedures and update clinical records with accuracy and attention to detail • Deliver clear post-op instructions and reinforce oral hygiene techniques to patients • Support infection control standards by following strict aseptic protocols • Pitch in where needed—this is a team environment, not a solo gig What You Need to Succeed • Minimum of 4 years chairside dental assisting experience • Strong clinical skills and solid working knowledge of dental procedures • Proficiency with digital x-rays, intraoral scans, and modern dental tech (CEREC experience is a plus) • A calm, clear communication skills and the know how to reassure patients and work with teammates • Able to prioritize, multitask, and stay on schedule without sacrificing patient care • Professional, adaptable, and dependable Office Schedule • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday • 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM (one hour lunch break) • Wednesdays off Compensation & Benefits • Starting at $21/hour, with compensation tailored to your experience and qualifications • Vision benefit • In-house dental benefit • Paid holidays and paid time off • Uniform allowance • Partially employer-paid health insurance • Ongoing in-office training to sharpen and expand clinical skills • Support for continuing education and professional growth opportunities If you’re an experienced dental assistant who takes pride in your work and works well with others, we’d love to hear from you.
