Our thriving dental practice is looking to grow our team and seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to optimize growth. Our practice is completely doctor led and owned and has been serving the Fort Worth area for over 15 years. Our modern practice is fully digital and equipped with state of the art technology, including a CBCT, a smile suite and an onsite lab which allows our Drs to do full mouth rehab to all-on-4 hybrid bridges, while also serving our clients with their general dental needs. Our practice is dedicated to changing lives and building long-term patient relationships by providing the highest quality of care and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service with an excellent chair side manner Set up treatment rooms and trays Assist the doctor at the chair with all dental procedures and patient charting Monitor and manage doctor’s schedule to productivity Take, develop and mount accurate and high quality radiographs Perform various laboratory duties including provisionals Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance Verify and document appropriately the patients' health history in their chart Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment, tools, and operatories Follow all OSHA standards Educate patients on risk factors, disease/prevention and treatment needed Track incoming and outgoing lab cases Assist hygienist(s) when requested Monitor level of dental supplies and order as needed Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience and a candidate that meets many of our Core Values: Team Player, Trustworthy, Always Pursues Growth and Learning, just to name a few. Current radiography certification required Dental Assistant certification as required by the state of TX Experience in a professional environment with direct patient contact preferred Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation preferred Current certificate to monitor Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia preferred Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training as required by law Excellent patient service skills Positive attitude and demeanor
