Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic and lead the clinical department. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing necessary instruments and materials. Take radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow to optimize clinic operations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the clinical area in accordance with infection control protocols. Perform basic administrative tasks, including managing inventory of dental supplies and equipment. Monitor vital signs when necessary and assist with patient comfort during visits. Be receptive to being trained by our very experienced staff. Offering opportunity to learn advanced assisting skills suck as assisting with implants, root canals, basic lab work like pouring up impressions and temporary crowns. Experience: Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic is a must. Experience assisting surgical extractions, implant placement, and root canals is preferred. Familiarity with dental systems such as dentrix is a plus. Knowledge of dental terminology will be advantageous. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Experience with CEREC, Surgical extractions, implant placement and RCTS preferred Ability to work collaboratively within a team while providing excellent customer service. Ability to be cross trained to work at the front desk is beneficial.
