We are a fast-paced and patient-focused Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery practice dedicated to providing exceptional surgical care in a compassionate environment. Our procedures range from wisdom tooth extractions and dental implants to advanced jaw surgeries. We're looking for a dependable and skilled Surgical Assistant to join our team and support our mission of delivering safe, high-quality surgical care. As a Surgical Assistant, you will play a critical role in assisting the oral surgeon with clinical and surgical procedures, preparing the operatory and providing pre- and post-operative care while ensuring patient comfort and maintaining a sterile surgical environment. We’re looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to patient safety and comfort. Key Responsibilities: Assist oral surgeon during surgical procedures (e.g., extractions, implants, biopsies) Maintain a sterile surgical environment and proper instrument handling Take radiographs (panoramic, CBCT, etc.) Monitor patients during sedation Deliver clear pre- and post-operative instructions to patients Sterilize instruments and manage operatory setup and cleanup Qualifications: Dental Assistant certification required Prior experience in oral surgery or dental assisting strongly preferred Professional, reliable, and compassionate with patients What We Offer: Competitive compensation Paid time off and holidays Health and dental benefits On-the-job training and continuing education opportunities Our office hours are: Monday - Wednesday 7:30am-4:00pm Thursday 6:30am-2:00pm Friday 7:30am-12:30pm
