Description

We are a periodontal office looking for an additional full-time RDH who values excellent patient care, patient education, and professionalism. The office is a two doctor, private, fee-for-service periodontal office with a strong, established hygiene pool and referral base. There will never be pressure to “produce” as a hygienist and never any time constraints for scaling and root planing cases. Our current full-time hygienist has elected to stay home with her new baby. Applicants must have the following: 1. Currently licensed and in good standing with the Board 2. 3 professional references 3. Pride and ownership in their work 4. Proficient with hand instrumentation 5. Proficient with sharpening and instrument maintenance 6. Be comfortable educating about home care and oral health to a variety of different patient personalities and backgrounds. 7. Takes continuing education and professional development seriously 8. Nitrous monitoring certification 9. Experience, especially if you've had experience in a periodontal or perio-heavy office Local anesthesia certification is not required but will be preferred and taken into consideration for wage discussions.
