Join Our Team as a Patient Services Representative at Bloom Dental of Chesterfield! Bloom Dental of Chesterfield is seeking a motivated Patient Services Representative to join our team in Richmond, VA. As a Patient Services Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations in our front office and providing exceptional patient care. You will manage many of the insurance aspects of a dental practice, acting as a liaison between the patient, the dental office, and insurance companies. You may also educate patients on their insurance coverage and financial responsibilities and may assist with billing and collections. When not working on insurance related tasks, you will be responsible for helping the office keep a strategic 'Perfect Day Schedule'. Daily Responsibilities: Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients Process insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims Coordinate patient scheduling and treatment planning Manage patient accounts receivable and collections Handle inbound and outbound calls related to insurance, scheduling and billing inquiries Required Skills: Proficiency in Eaglesoft Dental software (or similar dental software) Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures Experience with credit card processing and insurance billing Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to provide excellent patient care and customer service Knowledge of HIPAA regulations Nice to Have Skills: Previous experience working with dental insurance Knowledge of 'Perfect Day Scheduling' Bilingual in English and Spanish Salary and Benefits: This position offers a competitive hourly wage based on experience. Bloom Dental operates Monday-Thursday from 7:45am-5pm. We are closed on Friday. Paid holiday and sick days available as full time employee.
