Locum General Dentist – Mason City, IA 13057 Proxi Dental Staffing is seeking a General Dentist to provide coverage in Mason City, IA. This locum role offers consistent weekday hours, a busy patient schedule, and travel and lodging support if needed. What You’ll Love - $125 per hour with paid travel and lodging provided - Assignment runs September 2 – December 31 - Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 am–5:00 pm (hours may vary Nov 28, Dec 24, Dec 31) - Support team includes Dental Assistant, Hygienist, Office Manager, and Front Office Admin - Patient volume: 20–30 patients per day About the Role
This position provides the chance to step into a well-established practice with a strong support team. You’ll see a steady mix of patients and perform comprehensive general dentistry without the stress of practice management. What You’ll Do - Provide preventive care, exams, and treatment planning - Deliver restorative care: fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, dentures, root canal therapy - Educate patients on oral health and treatment options - Collaborate with staff to maintain efficient daily operations What You’ll Bring - DDS or DMD from an accredited program - Active Iowa dental license in good standing - Active DEA with all schedules and CSD if required - Patient-first mindset and ability to manage a busy schedule Location
