 Locum General Dentist – Denham Springs, LA 62401 Proxi Dental Staffing is seeking a General Dentist for a long-term locum opportunity in Denham Springs, LA. This role offers a steady schedule, an easy-going team, and a supportive practice environment. What You’ll Love - $120–145 per hour based on experience - Long-term assignment: October 13, 2025 – January 30, 2026 - Monday–Thursday schedule: 7:45 am–5:00 pm; Friday: 7:45 am–1:00 pm - Six experienced support staff members on-site - Collaborative and team-oriented practice culture About the Role
You’ll provide comprehensive general dentistry to patients of all ages, with an emphasis on preventive and restorative care. This position allows you to step into a steady, well-supported schedule where you can focus on patient outcomes while working alongside a skilled team. What You’ll Do - Deliver preventive care, exams, and treatment planning - Provide restorative procedures including fillings, crowns, bridges, implants, dentures, extractions, and root canal therapy - Offer Invisalign treatment (certification required) - Educate patients on oral health and treatment options - Work with the clinical team to ensure efficient operations What You’ll Bring - DDS or DMD from an accredited program - Active Louisiana dental license in good standing - Active DEA with all schedules and CSR if required by the state - Invisalign certification required - Strong clinical skills and a patient-first mindset Location
