We are a holistic, wellness-focused, and cosmetic dental practice serving Northern Virginia with cutting-edge technology, Digital Smile Design, and compassionate care. We are seeking a Dental Hygienist who is passionate about guiding patients on their oral health journey and delivering an exceptional patient experience. The Dental Hygienist plays a key role in patient care by performing preventive and therapeutic procedures, educating patients on oral-systemic health connections, and supporting out mission to create healthier, more confident smiles. Our hygienist partner closely with doctors to provide individualized care in a relationship-based, technology-driven practice. Core Responsibilities: - Provide dental hygiene services including prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, periodontal maintenance, and fluoride/ozone therapy. - Conduct oral cancer screenings, periodontal assessments, and digital wellness scans. - Educate patients on oral health, nutrition, sleep, and systemic health connections. - Take and interpret radio-graphs, intra-oral photos, and digital scans (iTero) and microscope slides. - Collaborate with dentists on treatment planning, Digital Smile Design (DSD), and holistic care protocols. - Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPPA and office standards. - Deliver a comfortable, VIP-level patient experience using modern equipment and amenities. - Support practice growth by promoting cosmetic and holistic services when appropriate. Core Requirements: 1. Education & Licensure: - Current Registered Dental Hygientist (RDH) license in Virginia. - CPR/BLS certification. 2. Clinical Competence: - Proficiency in preventative and periodontal procedures - Skilled in digital radiographs, intraoral cameras, and digital scanners. - Knowledge of holistic protocols (SMART amalgam removal, ozone therapy, biologics, salivary testing, microscope analysis) preferred or willingness to train. 3. Patient Communication: - Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills to build trust and guide patients in achieving optimal oral and systemic health. - Ability to explain treatment plans, procedures, and wellness concepts early. 4. Technology: - Comfortable using modern dental technologies including Digital Smile Design, CBCT, and advanced hygiene tools. 5. Mindset - Passion for holistic wellness, prevention, and patient education. - Strong attention to detail, organization, and commitment to lifelong learning. - Team-oriented, collaborative, and compassionate approach to care.
