If you’re passionate about early orthodontic intervention, working with children, and making a difference in families’ lives, we’d love to meet you! 🛠️ Position Overview: We are looking for a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with experience or strong interest in Phase 1 orthodontics to join our growing pediatric dental team. This role includes both general pediatric dental assisting duties and hands-on support with orthodontic diagnostics and appliances. 🦷 Key Responsibilities: Assist with pediatric dental procedures including exams, cleanings, sealants, and restorative work Provide support for Phase 1 ortho cases: expanders, braces, records, and scans Take digital radiographs and intraoral photos Perform accurate charting and documentation using CurveHero Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant cleanliness Deliver warm, bilingual (English/Spanish) communication with patients and families Educate families on home care, treatment plans, and post-op instructions Collaborate with front office and clinical teams to maintain smooth daily operations 💡 Qualifications: Active Texas RDA License Experience in Pediatric Dentistry and/or Phase 1 Orthodontics highly preferred Spanish-speaking is highly preferred Certified in Nitrous Oxide Monitoring (or willing to obtain) Certified in Sealants and Polishing (or willing to obtain) Current CPR certification Friendly, adaptable, and professional demeanor Comfortable working in a fast-paced pediatric environment 🌟 What We Offer: Full-time hours; Monday - Friday Competitive hourly rate (based on experience) Positive, energetic team culture Ongoing training in airway-focused dentistry and early ortho Opportunities to grow with a rapidly evolving pediatric airway practice Use of modern dental technology including CurveHero and CBCT imaging
