Job Summary We are seeking a professional, reliable and skilled Dental Assistant to join our Pediatric Practice. Our ideal candidate will be a team player in every sense. It is important that you love working with children and their families. You will play a crucial role in providing world class patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental assisting procedures, infection control protocols, and familiarity with various dental technologies. This role will expand beyond basic assisting duties but will also require additional tasks such as inventory management, ordering and acting as a liaison between the front and back. We are seeking someone with at least 3 years of assisting experience, specifically in pediatric specialty. This will be a great opportunity for growth and leadership experience. Responsibilities- Assist the dentist during examinations and routine dental procedures. Update Charts accurately and efficiently. Perform basic dental procedures such as taking X-rays, & coronal polishing. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control standards. Assist with developing treatment plans and explaining them to families. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow within the clinic. Experience At least 3 years of experience in dental assisting , specifically in pediatrics is preferred. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and X-Ray equipment. Experience with Eaglesoft is great, but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment are essential.
