*Responsibilities*
* Assist chair-side for general, restorative, and specialty procedures including IV sedation
* Take and process digital X-rays and intraoral photos
* Prepare and break down operatories
* Maintain instrument sterilization protocols
* Keep patients calm, informed, and genuinely cared for from the moment they sit down
* Work closely with both doctors and the front-office team on scheduling and treatment coordination
* Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide aftercare instructions
*Requirements*
* Board certification or registration (required)
* 1+ year of dental assisting experience (required)
* A calm, positive presence even when the schedule gets busy
* Strong attention to detail and clear communication with patients who are nervous, in pain, or both
*Bonus Points For*
* Sedation dentistry experience or interest
* Dentrix or similar practice management software experience
