· Ability to successfully complete prophys.
· Ability to apply fluoride gel/varnish and sealants.
· Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and the team.
Qualifications
· Current Certification from an accredited Hygiene Program.
· Current CPR Certification.
· Demonstrates leadership and strong communication skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· We use Open Dental as dental software, previous experience is preferred.

We are seeking a skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. As our RDA, you will have the opportunity to perform coronal polishing while building rapport with our young patients.
We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment where you can grow and develop your skills while making a positive impact on patients' oral health.
Responsibilities:
Must be able to work in a pediatric, child friendly environment
Review all hygiene patient charts including; reason and necessity of visit, medical history, and x-ray requirement
Verify patient information with parent or guardian, according to HIPAA privacy standards
Have coronal polishing certification - We are able to provide a sealant course!
Verify the patient has consent for treatment from parent or guardian
Advise parent or guardian what to expect in the visit and address any concerns
Charting all existing/missing teeth, existing restorations, and/or dental procedures
Obtaining all x-rays necessary in the best quality possible
Maintaining accurate clinical notes of each visit
Clean and sterilize all instruments following OSHA and company standards. This includes; scrubbing instruments, packing the instruments and processing them through the statim or autoclave sterilizer
Must maintain Dental Assisting License in good standing and complete the CE Credits required by state
Qualifications:
Current State of TN RDA License
Current CPR Healthcare Provider Certification
Polishing and Radiology Certification
