Dental office in Wilmington, Delaware is seeking a part-time or full-time Dental Hygienist to join our team. We offer highly organized and competent support staff, competitive pay, flexible schedule, no after hours or weekends, 401k, paid time off and an excellent medical insurance. Candidates must have graduated from an accredited dental hygiene program and hold a valid license to practice in State of Delaware in good standing. *Dental Associates of Delaware - Part-time and Full-time Dental Hygienists Needed!**Overview*
We are seeking skilled, part-time or full-time Dental Hygienist to join our teams in the Millsboro DE and Ocean View DE locations! The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health and providing exceptional patient care in a dental clinic setting.
*Duties*
- Perform dental hygiene procedures following the dentist's guidance
- Conduct oral health screenings and assessments
- Take dental x-rays using medical imaging equipment
- Participate in recalls, sterile, and other activities adding to the production of the office during downtime
- Maintain accurate patient medical records using Denticon, Open Dental, or similar systems
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices
- Assist with general dentistry procedures as needed
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols
*Skills*
- Proficiency in medical imaging and dental clinic procedures
- Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with medical records management and practice management software, (Denticon preferred)
- Strong grasp of coding for billing purposes
