Melissa Calhoun is a clinician, writer, speaker, and Instructor of Dental Hygiene at Tarrant County College.
She received her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Pensacola State College, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from St. Petersburg College, and a Master of Science in Dental Hygiene from MCPHS University.
Melissa presents continuing education courses to various professional groups throughout the United States. She is a published author in peer-reviewed journals on dentistry and oral health topics. She teaches radiology, pharmacology, oral embryology, histology, and anatomy courses. Additionally, she serves as the President of the American Academy of Dental Hygiene.
