The Use of Composite Grafts to Enhance Regenerative Outcomes
Oct 22, 2025

Details
Regenerative procedures have changed significantly in the past decade. We have gone from an osteoconductive allograft model where biomaterials act as a space maintainer and scaffold to a biologically based model. By combining key components in a new composite graft, we are now able to create a synergistic osteoinductive effect that compresses treatment time while generating a much higher percentage of vital host bone. This webinar will discuss the rationale of using a calcium releasing graft, embedded in a matrix of type I collagen, that induces new bone formation, enhancing the integration of implanted devices and stimulating soft tissue coverage. From simple socket preservation to more complex onlay grafting, this lecture will redefine regeneration in a predictable and consistent manner, simplifying the grafting process while maximizing clinical outcome.
Learning Objectives –
- understand the role of new hybrid composite grafts
- discuss the biologic and physiologic cellular response to dense bone filling augmentation materials
- demonstrate simple, predictable, and cost-effective socket grafting techniques without use of a membrane
