Description

We are seeking a Dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. This position will work with our skilled team of professionals in the Park Cities area, M-Th. It is a full- time role, but our office is not open on Friday's. So, if you hate long weekends this probably is not the role for you. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings and assist the dentist in various procedures. If you are passionate about oral health and have excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you. Primary Duties will include: - Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and debridement - Take dental x-rays using digital x-ray system - Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and materials - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions - Conduct thorough periodontal assessments and charting - Maintain infection control protocols and ensure compliance with sterilization standards - Update patient records accurately and timely using Practice Works - Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care Trates and attributes we are looking for: - Knowledge of dental imaging techniques for dental diagnostics - Familiarity with infection control protocols and practices - Understanding of dental coding principles for accurate billing purposes - Strong knowledge of human anatomy, particularly oral anatomy - Ability to take vital signs and record medical documentation accurately - Familiarity with dental terminology and dental systems If you are a dedicated Dental Hygienist looking to make a positive impact on patients' oral health, then we are the office for you.
